Fire Protection Engineering
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET)
Certified Fire Protection Engineering Technology Associate Engineering Technologist. NICET defines technologists as having a thorough knowledge of the equipment, applications, and established state-of-the-art design and implementation methods in a particular engineering area - in our case, fire protection engineering.
Experienced design in wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, deluge, and special hazard systems for use with water, foam, gaseous agents or dry chemical to be installed in new, existing, historic, remodel, or infill structures.
We use Central SprinkCalc
to perform full hydraulic calculations with any fluid in standard or metric units using either the Hazen-Williams or Darcy-Weisbach formulas.
Plumbing Engineering
Work in close coordination with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to design compliant and cost effective domestic water, storm drainage, sanitary drainage, and venting systems for new, existing, historic, remodel, or infill structures.
Auxiliary Electrical Engineering
Design shop drawings and custom installations for networking, cable, sound, intercom, communications, fire alarm, and burglar alarm Systems for new, existing, historic, remodel, or infill structures.
